World Cup Countdown - Group G

France - Switzerland - Togo - South Korea
France could probably not believe their luck when their Group G opponents were drawn out of the hat. If they wanted an easy run to the knockout stages they certainly got it. They will easily pick up the nine points that will see them through safely, and they can look forward to taking on the Ukraine for a place in the quarter finals. They have suffered a blow with the loss of Cisse yesterday, but with Henry and Trezeguet to fill the gap they will just be to strong for
everyone else.

So who will finish as runner up, well you could perm anyone from the other three teams. The Swiss team are average; the South Koreans over achieved four years ago and who knows
anything about Togo. Most people didn't know that Togo was a country until they qualified for the World Cup. They could be a threat if they can get the crowd support, they will
certainly have all the neutrals on their side. However even that may not be enough, so we have a choice between the Swiss and the Koreans. I cannot see the Koreans posting the
same results they managed on home soil four years ago, so it means a mediocre Swiss team will be the worst team in the last sixteen. The group will finish like this:
1. France
2. Switzerland
3. South Korea
4. Togo
