Starting this week with 24 days to go will begin the Sports Potato World cup preview. Each day I will pick a different team and analyze their chances of progressing and predicting where they will finish overall. I will go throughout the groups alphabetically and will kick things off with the hosts Germany.

But do not be deceived the ultimate result for me will be the mighty England lifting the trophy on July 9th
