Weekend Review - Rugby Union

No game for the Hurricanes this week as they take a well deserved rest, however the Northampton Saints scored a very good three point victory over Bath. They also got the elusive four try bonus point that now takes them within two points of finishing fifth. This was a very important victory that means they now go into next weeks derby with Leicester Tigers. Having passed up on the opportunity for a Heineken cup place last weekend it was important they pushed on in the lead and if they can come away from next weeks game with any points they will be doing very well.

The best thing to come out of this performance was the performance of Ben Cohen, a try and a try saving tackle certainly helped a lot, and with Carlos Spencer finally starting to find his feet in English rugby things are looking good for next season. Now what is needed is a big finish to this season to try and secure the European place, add to the team in the close season for a bug push to challenge the big guns next season
