Apology to Paul Cullen

I whole heartedly apologise to Warrington coach Paul Cullen. Yesterday in a fit of frustration and 21-0 behind at half time I said it was time for him to put up or shut up. I'm not sure what he said or did at halftime but 22 unanswered points in the second half led to an amazing fightback and improbable victory. It may have been a back to basics talk, it may have been a ball retention talk or it may have been a good old fashioned rocket up the arse to everybody. Whatever it was it worked and Warrington should take the win here and carry some sort of form into next weekends game.

What is clear for next weekend though is you cannot keep giving teams 10-16 point leads and hope to fight back and win. The discipline and basic rugby league have to be there from the whistle. The team that beat St. Helens is the team that needs to turn up every week. No more Jekyll and Hyde, lets just go out there and attack from the start and put the opposition on the back foot. It's time that the Wolves started to howl there way to victory
